After Blackys death we considered carefully what we should do and so we drove to the animals' home to look for 1 (!) other dog. It was so calm in our house, it was insufferable.

So we found Scarlett, a red Cocker. At the beginning very cute and calm. We took him for a walk and decided to adopt him. But I also casted an eye on another dog (Robie, Terrier-Mix). It turned out that they were alway together and they shared everything. Well, I didn't have to convince my mum. So we took 2 dogs with us. Scarlett at first because she was already castrated. Robie came 3 days later. Scarlett ruled the roost when Robie arrived but after a short time they were inseparable. ;) I loved them both but every one meant to get more than the other which was a normal behaviour. 
Scarlett rushed us off our feet. She was climbing on chairs and took something from the table. She jumped against the cupboards, emptied the dustbins, ....carried off shoes, glasses etc. Well, it was never boring with her. And Robie was angry because she couldn't do all that so she was specialized to bite in two socks and underwear. *gg* So, the shops were getting rich because we had to buy everything new. *lol* Except of being very active, they were very cuddly. Especially when they looked at us with their brown saucer eyes.... so we melt away.  *swarming*

Well but unfortunately Scarlett was hit by a car in November 2007. L She gave me the slip when I wanted to go in the car. I was very shocked and sad. I wil never forget Scarlett. I took a long time to get over her dead even if I already lost so many animals. But Scarlett was very special. You had to witness her to know what I mean. ;)
I had to be strong for Robie who didn't understand what happened.
