Blacky (Nr 1, the brown poodle ;) ) came to our family in 1981. He was from a german family which we met when I was in hospital in Germany. Karies and Blacky were very happy together and Karies took him as his own puppy. A few time later Karies died because of cancer.
Blacky was alone now and followed everywhere. Well, I grew up with him and he was very lovely and cuddly. So we often took a siesta together on the couch. ;) He must always accompagny us because I didn't want him to be alone at home. *gg* A very fast friend.

Blacky got a companion soon. It was a black Cocker namend Rex. My father gave him to me as a birthday present. A very confiding nature. Blacky was a bit jealous at the beginning but later they were good friends. But unfortunately they were together for a short time because Rex was hit by a car. He was only 6 months old. :.-(
So Blacky was alone again and we had some fantastic years together till 1993 when Blacky died also because of a cancer. He didn't survived the surgery.
